My work is grounded on sensing time-space-movement-sound relations accommodating abstract images inspired from organic forms and cultural/ folkloric elements. I aim to experience and reflect the ‘elasticity” of time and space through movement and sound. Carrying the awareness to the senses and intuitions like ‘seeing, hearing, touching’ and observing how such ‘sensory-intuitive awareness’ affects the perception of time and environment is one of my focal points. My choreographic works are based on the sensitive correlation between existences and circumstances. My affinity to music, visual arts, literature and textile art creates a natural tendency towards interdisciplinary works and collaborations.
Working with artists from different disciplines and cultures as part of the collaborative creation process initiates an unknown. I thrive transforming this unknown into an expression/ a new language in time. The inspirational journey of this new language starts with the imagination of the audience.
